One of my best flat lays!

Blogging as a whole (whatever you intend doing e.g fashion blogging, entertainment blogging, sports blogging, poems, reviews etc) is not as easy as the name is easy to pronounce. This post as the name implies is going to be a bit different today more like an appreciation post.

HOW I GOT INTO BLOGGING

As a freshman at the UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, I studied Mass Communication, we were required to do a course (ONLINE JOURNALISM) which led to my opening a twitter account, I already had a Facebook account (who didn’t) and just last year November, my Instagram account- Thanks to my then ONLINEJ lecturer and Project Lecturer, DR, THERESA. I. AMOBI ( she cuddled the love of any online gig I had going on) but I wished we were taught better.

At 200l, I opened my personal blog but I was deeply into campus gist so I called it (UNILAG APROKO) but it was a pidgin blog, I kept switching names and oh boy..It gave me some kind of “rep”at the dept- I was anonymous and wanted no one to know my name (because I was the shiest girl that ever lived).

THOSE WHO INSPIRED ME.

Back in the day at the dept, some guys (UNILAG AMEBOR) had this blog that was majorly into student gist, news, campus life as a whole. I enjoyed reading their article on SUGAR BRANDS (If you don’t know this magazine as a Unilag Student, then you must have really lived in the cave- no offense). One of the guys (OPEYEMI FAMAKIN) was actually I think the most popular out of the three guys and I got to read more hilarious articles on Sugar Brands. I read his personal blog when I had the chance to and loved how thoughts flowed and how everything was so relatable! Thanks Ope If you ever get to read this.

TO BE CONTINUED…THE POST IS STARTING TO BECOME A HISTORY CLASS..WATCH OUT FOR MY NEXT POST, I’D MENTION SOME OTHER NAMES AND HOW I FINALLY FOUND MY NICHÉ img-20161213-wa0005
